Restoration of a kindergarten and Dorogynskyy Lyceum after shelling
Wherever russia comes, it leaves ruins, both physically and mentally. It does not matter if a location is used by civilians or the military, if there are elderly and kids or not.
Dorogynskyy Lyceum and kindergarten in Chernihiv oblast', which hosts 476 pupils, has not become an exception.
Russian attacks destroyed the roof, windows, a few classes, and dining room. The back side of the building has been damaged as well, but not so crucially.
Children have to study in an old basement
Considering that there are no safe places in Ukraine, there is a need for shelter and a resilience center for kids to have the possibility to study offline. So, it would be created and equipped.
In the framework of the project, the building is to be renovated to become safe for pupils and teachers by the beginning of the coming school year 2024-2025 (1st of October 2024).
Required: 700,000 USD.
